Grand Tour AFAM

The Italian Cultural Institute in Brussels, in collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Brussels, will host the closing event and catalogue presentation of the Grand Tour AFAM (Italian Higher Education in Art, Music and Dance).

Coordinated by RUFA and involving 16 partners — including 14 AFAM institutions and 2 public institutions — the Grand Tour AFAM is an international project aimed at promoting Italian culture and lifestyle through a programme of activities focused on Italian creativity.

Developed over a period of 24 months, the project was divided into two phases.

The first phase, “Creating in Italy”, involved students, professors, researchers and international experts in a series of events held throughout Italy, designed to explore and showcase the country’s artistic and cultural heritage.

The second phase, “Networking”, took place abroad through an international contest for students from AFAM institutions, offering them the opportunity to represent the beauty and excellence of Italy. This phase also included an international roadshow of AFAM institutions, with events dedicated to strengthening international networks and promoting awareness of Italy’s cultural, musical, artistic and dance heritage.

Admission to the event is free of charge, subject to availability, and registration will remain open until 4:00 pm on 9 June 2026.

Participants will be admitted no earlier than 30 minutes before the beginning of the event and only if they have completed the individual pre-registration on the dedicated webpage and are in possession of a valid ID document.

For security reasons, checks may include bag inspections and the use of metal detectors.

Please note that photographs and/or video recordings may be taken during the event.

The Institute reserves the right to close access once the event has started.
